Pickleball Jamboree uses the world’s most succinct version of rally scoring.
1. In rally scoring, a point is awarded to whichever team wins the RALLY, and a point is awarded every rally. (IE: the non-serving team can win the point.)
2. We only rotate court positions when we are serving and our team wins the rally. At no other time do we change court positions with our partner.
3. There is no second server. IE: you only need to call the two first numbers of the score.
4. If the serving team’s score is even, serve begins from player on the right side. If serving team’s score is odd, serve begins from player on left. Remember: the serving team switches sides when they win the rally, they score a point, and the same player continues to serve.
5. If serving team loses the rally, serve goes to the other side. (Remember, there is no second server in rally scoring.)
Variations: hard 15, freeze, static side.
